Last week, BCS was lucky to welcome the Brass Trio from the Vermont Symphony Orchestra for an awesome musical performance through their Musicians-in-Schools Programs. Students learned about the art and science of playing brass instruments. They played some familiar tunes like the theme from Star Wars and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." We even got to see how household items can be turned into instruments when the trio played using funnels and hoses to make music! Thanks to Mr. Holder for organizing this fun event.

On March 26th, our BCS community gathered to celebrate student achievements in the Second Trimester. Brownington students make the teachers' job of choosing just one recipient per class incredibly difficult. We are so proud of the hard work, creativity, effort, courage, and responsibility students exhibit each day and grateful for a chance to celebrate a bit of that at this event. Thank you to all of the families who were able to join us and for all of the support in helping students reach their goals.
