Yearbook order forms have been sent home with all students! Students interested in purchasing a yearbook for this school year should bring in the money and their form by next Friday, April 17th. Students will still be able to purchase yearbooks after break but the price will go up $5. Please reach out if you need a new form!

As 8th graders wrap up their fundraising goals for their exciting 8th grade trip, they have worked hard to put together one final fundraising event. Please join us on Friday, April 17th for a Trivia Night! See details below. We hope to see you there!
On March 26th, our BCS community gathered to celebrate student achievements in the Second Trimester. Brownington students make the teachers' job of choosing just one recipient per class incredibly difficult. We are so proud of the hard work, creativity, effort, courage, and responsibility students exhibit each day and grateful for a chance to celebrate a bit of that at this event. Thank you to all of the families who were able to join us and for all of the support in helping students reach their goals.

Sign ups for the BCS Variety show are open! Students interested in sharing their skills, talents, or accomplishments with our school community will have the opportunity to shine on May 15th. Singers, dancers, gymnasts, instrumentalists, poets, comedians, magicians, and more are welcome to prepare an act for the event. Please reach out to Ms. Rosenbaum with any questions or ideas.
LR PTCA and OCSU PTCA
The LR PTCA will be meeting Tuesday, March 24th at 5:00 in the Student Resource Room. Families will have an opportunity to review the Comprehensive Needs Assessment and provide feedback on the Continuous Improvement Plan. We will also be planning an event to be held in May.
The OCSU PTCA will meet at 6:00 directly after the LR PTCA meeting.

🏀🏀 Come on out to Brownington Central School to support the DII Lake Region Youth Basketball Players in their final games of the season! Admissions of $5/adult $2/student or senior and supports the OES/BCS PTCA. 50/50 raffle. Concessions $$ supports the BCS 8th grade. Cheer on your local athletes and support your school community. 🏀🏀
❄️🐴 The Orleans/Brownington PTCA was proud to sponsor The Kingdom's BEST Horse Drawn Wagon Rides at the OCSU PTCA Winter Party! It was wonderful to see our district's students and families bundled up and enjoying a festive ride together. 🐴 ❄️

The Lake Region National Honors Society is putting on a free community movie night on Friday, March 13th.
A reminder that the rescheduled OCSU winter party is March 7, 2026, at Lake Region High School from 1-3pm. Please see the flyer for more information. We hope to see everyone there!
