On Fridays, middle schoolers at BCS participate in a variety of clubs like Tinker Club, STEAM Challenges, Basketball Club, Digital Escape Rooms, French Club, and more. This week, our Outdoor Club got to try out some Fall Photography and Fairy House building! These clubs are a great way to have some fun and practice new activities on a Friday afternoon while getting to have mixed grade level groups.

We're not clownin' around! Tuesday, September 23rd is school picture day! Photo forms were sent home with students last week. If you are interested in purchasing school pictures, please fill out the form and send it to school with payment on Tuesday. If you need a new form, please reach out to the school ASAP. Last week, 8th graders were invited by Green Mountain Farm to School to participate in a gleaning field trip. They traveled to Cabot Smith Farm and gleaned over 800 pounds of yellow squash. This was a unique experience for students and a great way to connect with our food. Hopefully families were able to cook them up and enjoy the fruits of their labor over the weekend!

The teachers and staff members of BCS are jumping for joy that students will be coming to our Middle School building tomorrow! A lot of hard work, care, and excitement have gone into getting ready for the first day of school and the months that will follow. It was great to see so many new and familiar faces at our Meet and Greet yesterday and hopefully it helped students and families feel more at ease as we officially embark on this journey together. Tomorrow, students will receive a home communication folder that will contain all of their Back to School paperwork. Please be on the lookout for this so that it can be returned to school ASAP. Don’t hesitate to reach out with questions via email or phone call. We look forward to making this a year of community building, meaningful learning, and joy! Go Bears!

- sister-school meeting structures and recruitment strategies
- representation on the OCSU PTCA
- provide feedback on school/district websites
